Les Amis du Cerf-Volant is an association which voluntarily publishes the quarterly Le Cerf-Volant, a literary journal founded in 1951 which defends the french language mostly with the help of its poetry. It is available by subscription in France and abroad and in prestigious universities.

Unpublished texts is the rule then poetry of course plus chronicles, short stories and reviews whose authors are literary and artistic people that count, together with a number of writers whose reputation is not yet established but whose talents are obvious.

Jean Cocteau wanted le Cerf-Volant(the kite) to go on "flying high in the sky of literature"
